Positive Leadership

We all have downtimes and setbacks but as leaders, we are responsible to motivate our teams to perform. One of the best ways to do this is to practice positive leadership. Learn to spin what may first appear as a negative into an opportunity.

On the LeadershipTraq blog, Mick Ukleja wrote a post today about how we can turn setbacks into setups for success. Mick offers a guide to keeping positive in these situations:

1. Refuse to Die

2. Manage your Fears

3. Get Motivated

4. Stand in your Strengths

5. Get Creative

6. Visualize the Results

7. Take a Chance

8. Enjoy the Journey

These are all excellent ideas and though broad in scope, when put together, they will help you being a more positive and motivating leader.
